Joseph P Ah Sau was born to John and Eleanor Ah Sau.  They lived in Wailuku and he was the second child of six.  

Our father played basketball for 3 years and football for 4 years at St. Anthony.  He was such a natural athlete who was well talented.  He was always calm and cool when he played and never lost his temper.  He just LOVED to play any sport and was so good at it.  He was liked by many who played with him against him and who coached him.  

He was on the All Star team 3 years for football and 4 years for basketball.

After graduating from St. Anthony he was awarded a scholarship at the University of Dayton on a football scholarship.  Later our father returned back to Maui and decided to give back to the school and coached football and basketball.

Our dad was such an inspiration to all of us so We the family of Joseph P Ah Sau are so pleased and honored to offer a scholarship in our father’s name to a graduating athlete.
